cURL to Go (net/http) Client Converter

Convert raw cURL shell commands into production-ready, idiomatic Golang code using standard library net/http. Generates Go structs with JSON tags, handles query params, multipart uploads, and authentication.

Golang net/http Client Architecture & Best Practices

Production guidelines for integrating generated Go HTTP client requests safely and efficiently.

1. Always Defer resp.Body.Close()

In Go, failing to close resp.Body leaks socket connections and file descriptors. Always call defer resp.Body.Close() immediately after verifying err == nil.

2. Configure Client Timeouts

The default Go http.Client has no timeout, meaning hanging servers can hold goroutines indefinitely. Always specify a timeout on the client or pass a context.WithTimeout.

3. Reuse http.Client Instances

Go's http.Client is safe for concurrent goroutine access. It manages an internal TCP connection pool (keep-alive). Reuse client instances instead of allocating a new client per request.

Zero Data Retention Guarantee: All cURL string tokenization and Go code generation executes 100% locally in your web browser. Sensitive API tokens, passwords, and private URLs are never transmitted to any external server.
